Your responsibilities

As part of the further growth of our Supply Chain organisation in the plant in Halle, we are looking for a Raw Materal Planner to join the team.

You will plan/forecast the designated raw materials/packaging in the short and medium term. As a result, you are responsible for the order and logistic follow-up of this raw material.

You are responsible for the short term planning of the Gourmet packaging centre and the material availability for those productions. For this you have close contacts with suppliers. There is also a lot of contact with external warehouses and you are also responsible for maintaining these contacts optimally.

You are also in constant contact with internal departments such as purchasing, production, production planning and the logistics teams.

On the one hand you ensure 100% material availability and on the other hand you ensure an optimal, cost-conscious logistic flow and optimum stock levels. The latter gives you co-responsibility for the working capital.

You take the necessary actions to guarantee the continuity of the production process, i.e. if necessary have the production plan adjusted according to availability.

You bear responsibility when escalations occur in relation to a material shortage and work with procurement and suppliers to find a solution.

Based on functional analysis you optimise the current way of working to systems, processes, costs and efficiency.

You make the invoice check and give the necessary approval/rejection.

On a monthly basis, you do a stock control onsite, at the warehouses and recalibrate these figures.
