Your responsibilities

As part of the Employment Practice of my client, you are responsible for all aspects of Employment Law, including both individual as collective labour relations and this with a strong focus on cross-border cases. You will be able to further develop your expertise in social security, compliancy of social regulations and HR-issues. You will provide advice in highly challenging national and international cases related to Compensation & Benefits, Remunerations & Payroll, Redundancies and Pensions. Furthermore, you will work on social matters regarding Labour restructuring projects and Employee transfers (social mobility). 

You are in direct contact with a varied and eminent clientele, both national and international, i.e. work councils, trade unions, labour authorities, employers and employees. 

You will work in a dynamic and open environment in collaboration with experts in Labour and Employment Law. This gives you the opportunity to grow on a professional and personal level and further expand your knowledge on different topics related to Employment Law.

Your profile

You have obtained a Belgian Master of Laws. A specialised degree (Manama, LL.M, Post-graduate) in Employment Law is a real asset.

You are a Belgian qualified lawyer with minimum 2 years of professional experience (as a lawyer) in Employment Law, preferably in an international environment.

You have a strong interest and expertise of individual and/or collective Employment Law.

International experience (i.e. studies, clients, cases) is considered a plus.

You have a native level of Dutch, an excellent command of English and a good command of French.

You are ambitious, driven and solution-oriented. You have a hands-on approach.

You are eager to work in a proactive and stimulating environment.

You are a real team player with a passion for Employment law.
